
Job Title: Roof Consultant 2 (Experienced Closer)

Job Summary:
Demonstrate the ability to complete all Roof Consultant 2 tasks by completing the RC2 OJT checklist. As a Roof Consultant 2, you are responsible for both lead generation and full-cycle sales. This includes performing roof inspections, working with insurance claims, presenting estimates, and closing contracts. You’ll build customer relationships from the initial knock through project completion.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform door-to-door lead generation with the goal of inspecting and closing roofing projects.
Conduct roof inspections and document damage using company CRM tools and mobile devices. Has equipment to conduct full inspections (Ladder, shoes, Chalk)
Educate homeowners about insurance claim processes and assist in filing claims.
Can communicate the differences in our product lines and warranties to clients for upsells.
Create and present roofing proposals using company estimating software.
Close contracts and hand off projects to the production team.
Maintain communication with customers throughout the job lifecycle.
Accurately log all interactions, inspections, and deals in the CRM.
Complete accurate Pre Production worksheets and photos from rooftops.
Mentor Sales 1 canvassers and collaborate with them to close leads.
Qualifications:
6–12 months experience in outside sales or roofing sales preferred.
Strong negotiation and closing skills.
Ability to perform on roofs and handle light climbing/physical work.
Familiarity with CRM platforms and basic mobile inspection apps.
Self-starter with a strong work ethic and goal-driven mindset.
Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and appropriate insurance.
Can pass the company OJT Roof Skills test.
Compensation:
Commission:
10% commission on the total contract value (after supplements) for self generated leads and self closed
5% commission on leads from Roofing Consultants.
Average commission per sale: $1,200 – $2,500 per job.
